Strong Union is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and uplifting youth through meaningful acts of service within their communities. Participants will engage in community-improvement activities for approximately 3–5 hours per day, with on-the-spot rewards available through gift certificates, Visa gift cards, Apple Pay, and Cash App.
Strong Union is seeking UAW members and community volunteers from the Downriver area who are interested in coaching Little League teams beginning at the end of the 2027 school year. Our goal is to establish annual sports programs and events that will positively impact local youth for years to come.
Each team will consist of one head coach, one assistant coach, and a roster of 10–15 young athletes.
Strong Union Goals
Our goal is to sponsor 7 Strong Union teams competing against 7 other teams. We are also looking for a Sports Manager/Organizer to schedule games, coordinate teams, and arrange referees.
Vans will pick up the teams, and parents are welcome to follow or meet us at the playing field to support their children.
